How to avoid Divergence of multiphase (gas/liquid system) in Fluent :???

I am doing gas/liquid simulations in an agitated tank using FLUENT 4.5 ..however, i have divergence problems....may be your experience can help (underrelaxations..time step..????)... any help is welcome...many thanks mounir

underrelaxation is one part but only when you have good mesh and B.C. Try Hex mesh instead of Tri mesh at B.C. and sensitive interfaces. Also check the skewness and smothness for the mesh quality.If the mesh is bad, you may get convergence but the result could be totally wrong.
