Hi all,
1 - how can i define the turbulence anisotropy?
2 - is it correct to say: the effect of wall is "Damping the wall normal components, making the turbulent flow anisotropic" ?
3 - i've read the Boussinesq assumption consider the flow isotropic. is it true?

isotropy implies an indipendence of the statistics to a rotation, therefore is a simple task to consider a non-isotropic condition
