Hi i am now working on a paper dealing with spectral solutions.. i hope i know something about the physical meaning of fourier series. could someone please help me with giving insight into fourier transforms? a small intro to fourier transforms in layman language would do. and do give me the relation between fourier series and the transforms... and do corellate it with coordinate transformations...

thank u prapanj
