Question about Tunnel Ventilation!

Hallo!

I have one question. I am a Mechanical Engineer and beginner in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics... I am searching for a good CFD program to do calculations for tunnels ventilation and aerodynamics, either for cars or trains, under normal or emergency conditions (fire).

Do you have any specific recommendations? Are there are also any courses that one can visit to learn how to use such software efficiently?

Thank you very much! Stefanos

Either Fluent or CFX had a neat demo calculation modeling the underground escalator fire in London. I know trains in tunnels have been done as well, but don't recall who did it. You might start with a call to your friendly Fluent marketer - they own CFX as well I think.
