Range y plus (wall functions)

what range standard for y plus in turbulent flow?
my case is standard wall function with k - epsilon model range Re 7000 - 42000 thanks for help FAZA |

If you are using wall function y+>30 sould be safe. If there is severe transition region you may need to use non-equilibrium model. Also if your problem is 2D and it does not require too much computational power you can create your grid finer I mean with y+ ~1 or et least 3-5 by this way you can use enhanced wall function with a good resolution. P.S. I assumed that you are using Fluent.
