Gerris original Points

Hello
I am a new user in CFD world and really i want to learn
I have two questions
1- How can i know the original point (0 , 0 , 0) in gerris (for example : example one in gerris web page)
2- Also for open-foam how can i know the original points(which file i can open to see the geometry)

i want to study the case of a flow a round cylinder and to take a the same point in gerris and open foam with same time of Simulation

Really i need your help
