hi,
i am doing my master course in Engineering Design ( B.E- Mechanical eng). i wish to get knowledge about CFD and FEA . Also wish to do project in CFD. i finished my 1st semester. three more semesters. final sem full project work. is it possible for me to get thorough knowledge about CFD and plan for project within period of 2 semesters. can you please guide me what to study and what are important in CFD projects. |

Hi,
Seems like your specialization is structural related and why do u want to do project in cfd?. Still if are interested, you can contact some profs working in that field. You need to have basics in Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer to start with cfd. To start with, read the book "computational Fluid Dynamics" by Anderson. |

thank you for reply. i am not structural. i finish my B.E-mechanical eng. and doing M.E- engineering design. i shall look for the book you suggested.
