STAR-CD, moving grid and streamlines
 

Hi,

I have a problem with plotting streamlines from a transient file 29 corresponding to a transient and moving grid problem. I want to do a streamlines animation but I can't plot streamlines after storing a particular iteration.

If I use the Load 9 command, It loads the last iteration. I use the following commands to plot streamlines

EVFILE CONNECT EVLOAD RESET LOAD 9 MVGRID POPT CONT CSCALE,20,auto,standard THIN,0.00 GETV NONE STRE TERM,,,VECT PLME OFF EDGE ON CPLOT

This method works well but gives only the streamlines at the last time step.

If now I use the STOR command to load the same iteration (the last one) streamlines are not plotted :

EVFILE CONNECT EVLOAD RESET TRLOAD 29 MVGRID POPT CONT CSCALE,20,auto,standard THIN,0.00 STOR ITER (the last iteration number) EVLOAD UPTO STORED GETV NONE STRE TERM,,,VECT PLME OFF EDGE ON CPLOT

I don't see where is the problem. Can someone help me? is there any additional command or is it an inner problem in star3.05?

Maybe you did not save "STRE" to file 29
