what is f-plane? -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

NW Guest Posts: n/a	I want to calculate laminar flow around a circular cylinder in a rotating frame. In many publications the f-plane was mentioned in relation with this kind of flows. Does someone know how is this f-plane defined ? Thanks.
