I am trying to solve turbulent flow in a 3D rectangular channel using standard k-e model and FEM formulation. I am facing severe convergence problems. But I am using a mesh size of 100x20x20. The channel dimensions are 1mx0.05mx0.05m. I am not exactly sure if this convergence problem is due to a coarse mesh or some mistake in my program. Does anybody has experience with 3D problems involving k-e model.
