3D FEM computations
I am trying to solve 3D NS steady state problems using FEM. I am familiar using only direct solver based on frontal methods. But memory is becoming a serious limitation. I am unable to solve mesh sizes larger than 30x30x30.
I did not have good experience using iterative solvers. For the fully velocity-pressure formulation, ILU solvers doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?
Or should I go for projection methods. Could anybody suggest me some iterative solvers which can be used for FEM problems.
Thanks in advance.
