CAn anyone give me some reference for 3D Panel Methods?? Thanks. |
Re: 3D Panel Methods
Hi, you can have a look at Katz and Plotkin book where several panel methods are reported. Have a look at Jack Moran's book as well. You can search for the doublet-source method developed by Morino. If you need a simple 3d manel vortex.lattice code google for TORNADO by KTH. Luca

Re: 3D Panel Methods
Why dont you use the PANAIR by Beong Company. Its free of cost.

Re: 3D Panel Methods
The only place I could find PANAIR is at PDAS. It is part of a software bundle that costs $295 plus $4 air mail shipping and handling. There's no mention of generating geometry, meshing or presenting results.

Re: 3D Panel Methods
you can Use Gambit for meshing and excel and techplot for preprocesing (u need to work on gambit file to make it readable in PANAIR) and also techplot and excel for post processing
