Visual Fortran compiler and debugger on linux

Dear CFD people;

I develope my own solvers for steady and unsteady flows. Recently, I moved from Windows to Linux OS. On windows, I was lucky to use Compaq Digital Visual Fortran involving very nice debugger. I would like to learn if there is any visual fortran compiler and debugger running on Linux?

Best regards.

CFD Student.

I have seen absoft,salford,intel(free for personal use) compilers for linux.If I'm not wrong visual fortran compiler was previously microsoft fortran compiler.That would say it all.

You can use gdb for debugging.Also emacs is a better text editor than most of the inbuilt GUI text editors.
