Re: help wanted abt lid driven cavity

I can suggest you the book of Donea and Huerta 'Finite element methods for flow problems', is very good and more application-orientated rather then mathematical. If you are more interested in the theory behind FE, then you should have a look to 'Theory and practice of finite elements' by J.L. Guermond. For this kind of problem, the lid driven cavity, you may also look for articles about stabilized FEM, petrov-galerkin, SUPG and GALS methods. Good luck!
