surface boundry condition for flow over a wedge

Hi,

I have to solve supersonic flow over a wedge of 10 degree semi cone angle. I dont know what surface boundry condition should I assume. The flow is inviscid and I have to solve it by using maccormack technique.

PLEASE HELP ME.

Re: surface boundry condition for flow over a wedg

You should use a flow tangency condition for velocity and probably a simple pressure extrapolation assuming zero normal gradient of pressure at the surface. If the boundary is adiabatic then you also have a zero normal gradient on temperature. With pressure and temperature at the surface you can compute density and then the total energy at the surface.
