Hi friends, I am a final year mechanical engineering student. I am very much interested in taking CFD as a course when I would be doing my MS in usa. I urgently need help on how to start CFD coding. For theory I am using 'An introduction to computational fluid dynamics by Versteeg and Malalasekra'.
Also I am watching the video lectures of IIT Kharagpur on NPTEl by Prof Suman Chakraborty. I have absolutely zero programming experiance.

So as a start, should I start learning fortran or c++??...someone recommended me the book called ' Numerical Recipes in Fortran/C++' to start coding numerical methods. Is this the right way to start?

Also plz suggest a book with a finite volume approach which will make my CFD concepts crystal clear ??
