Hi
I need to calculate the Reynolds number of a Rotor Blade. The freestream velocity is 30m/s but the rotor is rotating at 250rpm. In the Reynolds number equation what do I use as the Velocity and the length? Is it the overall span or the chord? The reason I need to calculate this is to set the correct values of turbulence intensity and viscosity as my CFD solution is giving me "Turbulence Viscosity Limited on XX faces" Thanks You |
