bubbly flow and heat signature
I have a curved duct. Inlet is filled with a mixture of gas/liquid and flow separates near the curved portion of the duct. I am solving for energy of the mixture as well (incompressible mode - static enthalpy) Both the liquid/gas phases are injected say at a const temp of 300k..
The walls of the duct are adiabatic. When the flow separates the regions are now filled with gas regions (volume fraction of gas increases).
Now, should I see an increase in the temperature of the gas region? i.e. what kind of heat signature should i notice in the regions filled with gas?
the gas CP is like 10 times smaller than liquid CP while thermal conductivitiy is similarly 10 times smaller for gas phase. (density ratio ~ 1000)
What role does Cp play in predicting the temperature in liquid and gas regions?
