SATHYA0606 is on a distinguished road
I am trying to run 3d mesh in 2d. I know that this can be done by one cell wide mesh extrusion i.e. two identical x-z planes separated by a distance 1. First, I created two x-z planes of unstructured mesh of distance 1. Then, I written the triangle connectivity information into a file and generated the prism (6 nodes) elements. Also, I wrote this in aflr3 ugrid format.

When I try to run this mesh in fun3d flow solver, it stops. The flow solver shows some error because of hanging nodes.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
