Hi, if I want to save all the information about the state of a field calculated with a k-e model, I have to save the pressure, velocity k and e at each point.
Now, if I would like to take the same kind of snapshot but for a LES-calculated flow, what variables must I store ? thanks, John Deas |

Hi,
As for RANS, the number of variable to store is related to the (subgrid) model you are using. Since almost all LES models are of 0-equation kind, you should have to store the velocity components and the pressure (and density for compressible flows, ...) Regards, Lionel |
