Hello All, I am checking to see if anyone knows of a reference where DNS was done for flow perpendicular to a thin circular disk at O(1000) Reynolds number.

The only reference I have seen for this so far is the paper by Shenoy & Kleinstreuer 2008 where the Reynolds number is increased to 300.

Is there something challenging in this type of simulation that I, as a CFD novice, do not see?

Best,
Jensen
