I'm working with a buoy. Regular waves are generated in a wave tank of dimensions 6m x 0,48 m x 1 m in a water depth of 0.5m. I need to calculate vertical force on the buoy due regular waves (Hydrodynamic Force). How can I calculate this force. The buoy will move only in vertical direction. How can I restrain to 1 DOF?
