Initial conditions

Hi

If the governing equations are written in dimensional form can I still use non-dimensional initial/boundary conditions? Or is it preferable to use dimensional conditions?

Cheers

"Or is it preferable to use dimensional conditions" Yes it is !

However, it could depend on the solver you are using, but I think that it's better.

If the equations are in dimensional form, use dimensional conditions. More to the point, make sure you use a set of conditions that are dimensionally consistent.
