Default Ask: gamma-based method for compressible multiflui

Is there anyone knowing the gamma-based method for compressible multifuild developed by Keh-Ming Shyue?

He suggested two advection equations to track the interface motion in terms of (1/gamma-1) and (gamma*PI/gamma-1).

Here the gamma is the ratio of specific heat, PI is a pressure-like constant used in the stiffend-gas EOS.

I am confusing how he solved these two equation either by coupled with the system of equestion or separated with them.

The system of equations is the conservative form while the advection equations is the primitive form.

Thanks in advance.
