I also ploteed the mass flux (rho*V) variation in a shock tube. it's not constant! Shouldn't mass flow be conserved?

No. If you considered an ideal gas law, the internal energy is rho*e=p/(gamma-1) in which e stands for the internal energy.

Your did stand for the total energy, not the internal energy.
