Latex questiuon (figure)
I like to have two figure that have same figure number, how i can do this in latex.
e.g., ....... Figure 1: my fig caption ..... Figure 1: continue If fact, i don't like that latex increase figure number automatically (only) for this special case. Thanks. |
Re: Latex questiuon (figure)
use subfigure to group two more figures together

Re: Latex questiuon (figure)
There is a counter variable which defines how you define figure numbers and in what format.I do not remember it on top of my head. But look in any latex books you might come across the variable.

Re: Latex questiuon (figure)
Dingxi: i dont' need subfigure (multiple figs. with the same caption), but multiple figs. with distict caption and only the same number.
Harish: i don't understand your purpose, but i look for more simpler solution, such issue is formal and simpler solution may exist. other idea? |
Re: Latex question (figure)
You could decrease the figure counter with
\addtocounter{figure}{-1} before the second figure. Hope, this helps. |
