is there anybody who could help me to know what is DES method applications?
also for an airfoil with high angle and seperation could it be used?

I don't work using DES, but it was created to be somehow between RANS and LES for some applications with separated flow conditions.

as you can see, the 2D problems was proposed at the end of the years '90 only as a preliminary exercise https://www.researchgate.net/profile...8919000000.pdf

The mix with a LES field requires the 3D assumption.

Hello there,

I am doing free jet simulation using DES model. I am using this model for the first time. Can anyone please tell me the Y+ value guidelines for the simulation?
