Heat Conduction Code

Hi,
I need a code to solve the transient heat conduction equation in 3 dimensions with heat source as a function of time and position-dependent material properties. Is anyone aware of a FREE code with these capabilities? Thanks, Chrys |

look for an FEM code. if you can find FElt or Z77 (by frank rieg) these can perhaps do what you want. you can search the resources portion of CFD-Online in the FEM section. Jonas has some good links you might find useful
