Mixing occuring faster than the experiment problem

Hello, I'm doing a simulation investigating water mixing in tanks. The model involves two phases (fresh & saline water) and use of turbulent jets. I've used the RNG K-E model and VOS multi-phase model. It's an unsteady simulation and I've used a time step of 0.1 secs. Although FLUENT predicts velocity fields very accurately, mixing occurs much faster than the experiment. I've tried changing under relaxation factors with no success. Any ideas why this is happening? Any suggestions?

Please, help!!!

Make sure your inflow conditions for K and E are similar to those in the experiments that you compare with. Also, if mixing occurs faster in your simulations, I do not understand how your velocities compare well with experiments.
