hello to everyone.I'm studing mechanical engineering at Technological Institute of Piraeus kai I'm preparing my final work.So I was wondering if someone could help me as I'm using Gambit kai i need to work out a geometry of a car either in 2D or 3D version.Any idea or solution will be welcomed....

Try to make geometry from and exixting CAD model and try it in ANSA or Hypermesh... GAMBIT is useless for car geometry.

You can always go for a simplified model instead of trying to get the whole geometry ( unless you have time ).You might want to try to model flow past a ahmed body.

Even if u ANSA for neshing u can still use FLUENT for solving... these r the industry standards.. I don't know any other way to do a full car simulation.

Well there r otherw ways like using any other pre-preocessor... but almost certainly GAMBIT is never used... most of the time it is going to crash if u try to import complicated geometry into it... even if u suceed in it u will face a very tough time trying to clean it... though if u have a cleaned geometry u can still mesh it in GAMBIT.
