multiblock - parametric edge

Hi,

I am using ICEM to mesh diferent drive system for 60'open. I am using multiblocks technics. In ICEM the default edge function is the bigeometric one. Is that because it is better to have a higher resolution at the junction between blocks (may be for the solver and the way it handle multiblocks grid)? Or is it because usually you split your blocks at some critical places (junction of surface, sharp corner...) and that it is necessary to have a better resolution there? Or is it just a random choice and it is not more of interest to use bigeometric?
