Has anyone done the 1-D Riemann problem(with shock wave) in a tube or sod using the MacCormack scheme before?

I am a total newbie in CFD and in programming.. any help rendered will be really appreciated..

I am writing the program with MATLAB..

I hope that someone can really help me as I am heading nowhere.
