air properties - heat expansion?
Hi,
I am doing a natural convection (air) calculation using Boussinesq approximation. The temperature ranges from 6 degree C to 37 degree C. What reference temperature and heat expansion coefficient should I use for a range of temperature? Is there any website where I can find the values? Thanks! phsieh2005 |

A thought:
Locate an equation for coefficient of thermal expansion - if not a perfect gas. As I remember, for a perfect gas, beta=1/T (where T=absolute temp [K]) Let the simulation compute beta as it determines the T field. mw... (www.adthermtech.com/wordpress3) |
