I can export the geometry from Solidworks to ICEM by changing the file format to IGES. But it effects the quality of my geometry, and more importantly the model is exported to ICEM as one whole unit. I am not able to create parts in ICEM to setup boundary conditions in CFX-Pre. Can anyone help please! Anyone input will be appreciated.

Peace Usman

ACIS typically works better than IGES. There is also a Direct CAD Interface from SolidWorks to ICEM - if you have the license for that.

How can i export it in ACIS format? I do not have CAD interface license. Is there any other way to separate the parts in Solidworks or in ICEM so that i can set up boundary conditions in CFX-Pre. Thanks

Peace Usman
