Can someone explain what is the fundamental principle in mapping the local heat transfer coefficient on walls from CFD mesh to FEA mesh.
How does it work ? Is it reliable? Many commercial CFD codes have this option of mapping local HTC to an FEA mesh for thermal analysis. I do not understand the principle behind it. Thank you. |
