Hi.. Can anyone suggest me how to code the interface slip analysis (IPSA) or Partial elimination algorithm(PEA)?

Basically I am working on a steady state Gas-powder flow through a packed bed. I am supposed to write a C code for the system with k-eps model. So far, I've successfully written the code for gas flow through packed bed using SIMPLE. Now I've to put powder into it.. The problem is, how to update the volume fraction? By taking some model for solid pressure, we can get the pressure-vol.fr. relation. However, SIMPLE is not working in this case.. Can anybody suggest something?

Thanks in advance..
