Hi
I want to put forth an idea, I am a CFD enthusiast and I would very much like to pursue it as a hobby first and then hopefully a career later. I am currently developing a GPU code for 3d Navier stokes flow (I think gpu are the future in CFD ). I would like to know if anyone is interested in collaborating.

After some research I have realized that CFD is not difficult but painstakingly elaborate and vast, so would be awesome if anyone would like to collaborate. If interested please reply to this message or email me at chandrasekhar971@gmail.com.

PS: I know i have given a very broad idea, as right now I am interested in making a working 3D Navier Stokes code (complete with transient and compressible nature and hopefully turbulence ). Please let me know if you guys have any good ideas about it.

This paper is from five years ago. Much has changed since then. CUDA is (mostly) out. OpenCL (or OpenMP on the Intel MIC) is in.

Thanks. Initially I was thinking of using CUDA as it is well documented.
I think if the algorithm for parallel computation is worked out, it can be programmed on any language.
