Hello all
I would like to simulate cooking of rice in openfoam. My set up consist of a cylindrical vessel filled with water and some quantity of rice in it. The major challenges in simulating this process: 1) Swelling of rice due to heat absorption. 2) Flow of rice within the vessel. 3) Fluid flow obstruction by the cooked rice at some locations inside the vessel. Some solution: 1) We can treat rice as a fluid of some viscosity other than water and it's viscosity changes with water absorption. Please guide me to find a suitable solver for simulating this phenomenon. Thanks Nitin Minocha |
