Question about two fluid method

As a newbie,the question may be stuipid.
I wonder how particle diameter is calculated in TFM .As it seems like only drag force correlation involves diameter. Many thanks! |

To my understanding,diameter is constant ,even in reactive gas solid flow. Is it right?
