Default Possible to compare thrust with vorticity diagram?

Hi,

I have vorticity diagrams of an oscillating airfoil with different configurations. May I know if it's possible to compare and explain the thrust generated from the vorticity diagrams? Are there any references available?

Else, what other ways can be used to explain the thrust generated?

thanks!
