Gravity in 2D axisymetrical situations

Hello
I am wondering how gravity can be taken into account in 2D axisymetrical situations (like tube) by classical formulations used in the common CFD packages Is it really possible ? Thanks for your help |

Yes, if the gravity is directed along the axis of symmetry. If not, with the gravity the problem is not axisymmetric and needs 3D solution.
