OpenFOAM Message Board

Is there any reason why OpenFOAM has this weird message board configuration?

Why does it have it's own subdomain and isn't in the same format as the other forums on here?

The OpenFOAM forum has used this discus forum software for a long time. They did not want to change to another software.
