Super Mario is on a distinguished road
Hello! I am a beginner in CFD domain. I am currently simulating a helicopter fuselage to calculate drag coefficient(Cd) using OpenFOAM. I have entered the forceCoeffs function in the controlDict file with proper modifications(Aref, Lref values). But, I am getting absurd values for Cd and I guess the values are diverging (around 10e+50 aftr 500 iterations). I did postprocessing of the case using paraview and found values for pressure and velocities within ranges (Vel. Mag. [0-52] and Press. [-688 to 750] ). So, I guess there's nothing wrong with the simulation setup. Can anyone please guide me as to where I might be going wrong?
Thanks!
