Multiple reference frame in centrifugal fan -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Peter Guest Posts: n/a	Hi, I'm using multiple reference frame for centrifugal fan CFD analysis. Region around the blades are set to be rotating frame and the housing is static reference frame. Do I have to model the volume of the housing of the centrifugal fan and specify 0 RPM? What is the direction of the rotating frame?Following the blades rotation or opposite? Thanks
