A simple plastic solid model in FSI

I am simulating an internal explosion problem in a water-filled cylinder. This example requires the modeling of plastic deformation of cylinder wall. However, I am not a solid expert. If someone know about a simple plastic solid model workable with a compressible CFD code, please advice me.

use elastic case for solids on the boundary for FSI problem and Fon Mises criterea without hardening to cut the stress component inside solids (see Wilkins or Autodyn or other manuals)

Could you detail about "Wilkins?" Is it a commercial code? You meant that if the effective stress in the solid satisfies than the Von-Mises yield condition, cut the solid component. Is it right?

Wilkins means a REFERENCE M.L. Wilkins, Calculation of elastic-plastic flow, in Methods in Computational physics, edited by B.Alder, S.Fernbach, and M. Rotenbeg (Academic, New York, 1964), Vol.3,p.211 or look into G.H. Miller and P. Colella. A high-order Eulerian Godunov method for elastic-plastic flow in solids, J. Comput. Phys. 167, 131-176 (2001).

you have to cut the deviatoric components of your stress tenzor 1. calculate elastic problem 2. calculate the second invariants of your deviatoric elastic tenzor,

compare it with Von Mises 3. if it is plastic case , calculate the coeeficiant to correct your deviatoric componentes in accordence with Von Mises (look at Wilkins for example) 4. time your deviatorice terms (decrease them) on this coefficiant

I really appreciate your help. It is pretty helpful. Now, I checked the avalivility of this article but I could not get it right now. Mind if I ask you the photocopy of that article. If not, it's okay

your welcome, this Milerrs&Colella's you could find in their web page, make search in Google, also may be they have there references to other Wilkins

Could you detain the keyword to search that paper? I could not find anything else by that keyword. Thanks in advance!
