vortex tube validation problem

I am working on 3d simulation of flow in a vortex tube by the ANSYS CFX14.5.

Have u considered ideal.gas ? how many iterations u run

yes of course. 1500, with max residual 1e-5

Hello,
Please excuse me for comment in this post, I have the same problem, but I'm using Fluent, the RSM model, ideal gas and Kinetic Theory for the thermodynamic properties and a tet mesh of 1million elements, I'm having convergency problems, and also a pretty weird temperature profile, I will appreciate if you can tell me what should I do. |
