Dissipation in Harten-Yee and Davis-Yee TVD Scheme

Dear All,

I am using Harten-Yee and Davis-Yee TVD schemes.

I have solved some Test Cases, such as, rearward step, blunt body and compression corner by using these schemes.

Due to dissipation, results are not very good at separated regions (circulation region).

I am working to minimize this dissipation by making improvements in Entropy Fix and/or by making improvements in Left & Right Eigen Vector Matrix for the approximate Riemann solver.

At this time I am using Left & Right Eigen Vector Matrix from following AIAA paper: "Recent Improvements in Efficiency, Accuracy, and Convergence for Implicit Approximate Factorization Algorithms", Thomas H. Pulliam and Joseph L. Steger NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA, AIAA-85-0360

Entropy fix from following paper: "High-Resolution Shock-Capturing Schemes for Inviscid and Viscous Hypersonic Flows," Yee, H.C., G. H. Klopfer, and J. -L. Montagne, J. Comput. Phys.88, pages 31-61, 1990.

I need following help:

1. How eigen vector matrix effects on dissipation?

2. Some appropriate method to get suitable eigen vector matrix which provide low dissipation?

3. Other relations for entropy fix

4. Different ways to get comparatively low dissipation by using same Harten-Yee and/or Davis-Yee TVD

Thanks in advance
