Solver dirtyness

Hi,

I have asked for a colleague to work on my solver a bit and he said my solver had too much solver dirtyness and it was a mess and too long to find bugs. I have to carry on working on my cfd solver alone.

How do you define solver dirtyness on a scale between 1 and 10?

A programmer.

Re: Solver dirtyness

Does your code: 1) have variable names that make sense? 2) have enough comments telling the programmer what it's doing? 3) have loops intended so it's easy to read and identify the flow of control?

If none of these can be answered with a "yes" then I can understand your colleague's frustration.
