PLIC code of Prof. S. Zaleski may helps, it is more advanced that young method however very similar,

PS: 2d PLIC is basically easy to implement but 3D is tricky, you can assist 3D code of Zaleski too.

code is modular and if you understand algorithm (refer to Zaleski 98 JCP paper and also his JCP Note), then u could used it very easy

I have found a paper "(Aulisa et al. 2003)" about the developed PLIC at "http://www.lmm.jussieu.fr/%7Ezaleski/drops.html".

I don't know whether the paper "(Aulisa et al. 2003)" is the one you refer to.

Could you tell me the name of the corresponding paper you refer to?

Well, It seems that your research work is about interface capture and you are familiar with the code.

I have skimed through the 2 papers you have refered to and known the main frame of the code. However, there are some questions about the algorithm of computing alfa from volume and computing volume from alfa.
