Hi everyone,
First of all, I am totally new into CFD. So if you can give me any advice on preliminary work/books to help me get started into this, that would be cool. I want to study the effect of putting a (as cheap as possible) square structure around a water turbine that would create a Venturi effect, to see if it's economically worth doing or not. I am doing this for my MSc dissertation so I can have student license for Autocad/Autodesk CFD. But I don't know which software would be suitable for this project, and I don't know how to choose between Openfoam/SU2/Delft/Autocad... Many thanks for your help, Thomas |
